You are Invited! Our Grand Opening!

Saturday, April 13th 5PM-8PM

Our first show is representing four local neighborhood artists who live and work with in 3 miles of our center.

Robert Fairfax, an eclectic abstract artist

Denise Richards, an encaustic artist and educator exploring the use of depth through wax.

Joanne Schoener Scott, a mixed media acrylic artist.

Melinda Margolis Burkhead, sculptor and photographer exploring balance through form and nature.

Come visit us for our grand opening, ribbon cutting party. A milestone in the evolution of the Burkhead Art Center. Our opening reception is April 13th, 5 pm to 8 pm. Please come celebrate with us and support us!

Summer Solstice Art and Music Fair:

Over 2 venues Burkhead Art Center and Cederbrook Farms, live music performances and art booths at both locations. Fundraiser to support Horse rescue and Burkhead Art Education Center.

Sculpture Garden: (tentative depending on # of artists and sculpture we receive)

June 1-July 18th Instullations.

July 20th Grand opening Sculpture Garden

Artist Boutique and Student work:

Will be open April 13th - December 20th on Weekends

and during classes. (This is a co-op boutique, and participation is required).

If you have gallery, boutique experience would love to have help developing all programs.

Upon acceptance,The Burkhead Art Center will provide a consignment agreement , a W- 9 Form, and Inventory Sheet to be completed by the artist.
