ALDO ORNELAS

Aldo earned a Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2020 and a Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture with a minor in Ceramics from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua in 2015.

His professional experience includes serving as a Studio Manager at The Red Pine Company, along with roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Ceramic Instructor, and Elementary Art Teacher.

From 2013 to 2020, Aldo actively participated in numerous exhibitions across Texas and Chihuahua, Mexico. He has also been involved in conferences and public talks between 2017 and 2023, where he served as a Woodfire Advisor and delivered presentations on various ceramics-related subjects.

Aldo's publications include catalog photography for "Grand Voyage: The Art of Piero Fenci" in 2015 and a catalog sponsored by the University of Chihuahua in 2023. Furthermore, he contributed to various installations at The Red Pine Co. from 2021 to 2024, with pieces located in Texas, New York, and Dallas.
