Glass Studio Membership
Stained Glass Open Studio Membership
Open Studio Memberships allow access to the glass studio during open studio hours — anytime between 10am and 9pm, as long as no other glass classes are running that day.
Membership includes:
A dedicated storage shelf for personal materials
Full access to studio tools, equipment, and scrap glass
Please note: consumable materials such as glass sheets, solder, copper foil, and lead came are not included in the membership cost.
Memberships are currently available to those who have taken a stained glass class with us or have sufficient experience working independently in a glass studio.
Membership options:
$100 per month
If you have not previously taken a 6-week stained glass class, or a 2 day Intensive stained glass class at the studio, and are interested in becoming a member, please select your desired membership and the Orientation Add-On.
There is a one-time orientation fee of $45. Once submitted, someone from our team will contact you to schedule your orientation.
If you’ve previously taken a stained glass class with us, you can go ahead and purchase your membership. Once payment is received, we’ll get you set up with your storage shelf and access details.
Thank you for your interest in joining our glass arts community!

Open Studio Information and Policies
Our Glass Open Studio program is very flexible. If there is no class running in the glass studio, you are welcome to come work. We will post a monthly calendar on the website.
The glass classroom is open from 10 am - 9 pm, Sun - Sat
Glass Program Details:
Members are expected to be able to work independently - no instruction is included in the membership fee.
Members are required to text Melinda Burkhead before arriving and sign in at the front desk so we know you are on-site. This is for insurance and safety purposes.
Members will have 1 dedicated storage shelf for in-progress work and personal materials. Label personal items with your name.
Members have access to glass grinders, soldering equipment, and hand tools.
Scrap glass is available to students and members as a way to share resources, cut down on costs, and minimize waste. We ask that you contribute as much scrap glass as you take so this system remains fair and advantageous for everyone.
Consumable materials, such as copper foil, solder, lead came, and sheets of glass, are not included in the membership. Some materials are available for purchase on-site or can be sourced outside of BAC.
Members may work on their own projects at their own pace.
Open Studio Time is shared by both members and students.
The membership fee is $100 plus sales tax, billed monthly.
BAC reserves the right to close open studios for special classes or workshops.
BAC reserves the right to refuse service. If a member is found not to be a good fit for the studio, their membership will be canceled and refunded on a pro-rated basis. Potential reasons for cancellation include not following the rules and policies of the studio or aggressive/rude behavior towards students or other members.
