Discover the Art of Glass

At Burkhead Art Center, we believe the most rewarding part of creating glass art is making something that's truly your own. Whether you're exploring stained glass or fused glass, our classes emphasize creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on learning. Students are encouraged to make artistic choices throughout the process, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect their own style.

Our stained glass workshops teach the complete copper foil process—from cutting and shaping glass to foiling, soldering, and finishing—while our fused glass classes introduce students to the exciting possibilities of kiln-formed glass through projects ranging from functional art to decorative pieces. With class sizes limited to just eight students, you'll receive personalized instruction in a welcoming studio where the goal isn't simply to complete one beautiful project—it's to build skills and confidence that inspire you to keep creating.

Ready to continue your glass art journey? Our Glass Studio Memberships provide access to studio tools and equipment, dedicated project storage, and a creative community where you can develop your skills at your own pace.
