Looking for a small group with dedicated class time to further your skills in ceramic handbuilding or sculpture? Join our club on Thursday mornings!
Past experience / previous class required. You will use leftover clay from previous projects / classes, or you can purchase additional clay as needed throughout.
During the 6-weeks, students will be encouraged to experiment with form and texture, allowing them to create both functional and non-sculptural works. No formal instruction or demos, but students will be guided through the creative process.
Come with an initial idea/project and you will develop your vision to final product, with an emphasis on personal expression and exploration. We will also discuss surface treatments, glazing options, and finishing techniques.
By the end of the club, you will have gained the confidence to continue exploring sculptural clay work independently. And more importantly, you will have gained friends along with you!
