During the 6-week class, students will be encouraged to experiment with form and texture, allowing them to create both functional and non-sculptural works.
Melinda will work with Beginners to Clay and help you get comfortable exploring clay.
Come with an initial idea/project and you will develop your vision to final product, with an emphasis on personal expression and exploration. We will also discuss surface treatments, glazing options, and finishing techniques.
By the end of this class, you will have gained the confidence to continue exploring sculptural clay work independently. And more importantly, you will have gained friends along with you!
