A ceramic surface design workshop series for you. We will go over one technique each week. You have great pieces but would like to explore some different ways to finish your pottery. In this fun and creative class series we will explore a few different techniques to enhance texture and visual appeal to your pottery. From carving and stamping to using slips, underglazes and other decorative methods. Each week covers a different technique in 90 minute classes.

10/08: Adding texture with Creative items. Make your own stamps and texture boards.

10/15: What is underglaze and how to layer it, and paint with it?

10/22: Mishima and Sgraffito

10/29: Carving and Piercing

11/05: Resist Techniques: Wax, tape, paper and latex

11/12: Slip Trailing
