Intro to Fused Glass: SMALL DISH (90 MINUTE WORKSHOP) - Sunday Evening 6:00pm - 7:30pm (08/17)

08/17 With Kristin Harsma

Ready to explore the art of kiln-formed glass? In this beginner-friendly fused glass workshop, you'll design and create a small functional glass piece, such as a 4–6" dish, plate, or tray.

You’ll learn to cut and layer pieces of colored glass, experiment with textures and embellishments, and understand how the kiln firing process transforms your work into smooth, finished art. Fired pieces will be ready for pickup within two weeks.

This is a great intro to the world of warm glass and a perfect stepping stone toward more advanced fused glass projects.

What’s Included:

  • All tools, materials, and kiln time

  • Instruction on glass cutting, design, and basic fusing concepts

  • One finished dish or plate, fired and ready to use (to be picked up at a later date)

Min/Max Students: 3/8

Tuition: $50

Materials Fee: $30

TOTAL CLASS FEE: $80
