Fused Glass Holiday Plates with Kristin Harsma
Make a Holiday Gift out of Glass! In this beginner-friendly fused glass workshop, you'll design and create a small fused glass piece, such as a 6" glass plate or candle votive.
You’ll learn to cut and layer pieces of colored glass, experiment with textures and embellishments, and understand how the kiln firing process transforms your work into smooth, finished art. Fired pieces will be ready for pickup within two weeks.
This is a great intro to the world of warm glass and a perfect stepping stone toward more advanced fused glass projects. Feel Free to sign up for multiple workshops because you can make something new every time!
What’s Included:
All tools, scrap glass, frit and stringers, and kiln firing (option to purchase sheets of glass if desired)
Instruction on glass cutting, design, and basic fusing concepts
One finished fused glass piece, fired and ready to use (to be picked up at a later date)
